Friends and Family Test
The Friends and Family Test (FFT) is a national survey and a way for all patients to give feedback about their care and treatment.
You can take part in the survey at the time of your discharge home from hospital, or after an appointment or home visit. If you have not already done so, you can also complete the survey here as soon as possible after receiving care or treatment.

CQC National Patient Survey Programme
The Department of Health initiated a national patient survey programme to be carried out by all NHS Trusts. These surveys cover all areas of care. If you’ve had a recent stay in hospital, you might receive a copy of the survey through the post.
The purpose of these surveys is to listen to what patients feel about the services provided by hospitals and take steps to make improvements wherever problems are identified.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) provides a report showing the results for each Trust throughout the country. The most recent CQC survey reports for Airedale NHS Foundation Trust can be viewed here.
